What I found after 90 days of non-stop meditation in India

You have 2 options in life:

Swallow the Red pill, or the Blue pill.

Which one did you take?

Most of us were given the blue pill before we could make the decision for ourself.

Our society and cultural conditioning is built upon the blue pill. 'The system' aka The Matrix.

The 2 pills determine your state of awareness of yourself and the world around you.

Your state of awareness determines your entire life experience.

Your experience of life determines the quality of your existence.

The innate quality of your existence is 100% Bliss. A natural joy and love that goes beyond all logic.

You have the opportunity to be in control of this. Is this your reality?

If you feel 'there has to be more to life' then you are experiencing the symptoms of the blue pill.

The matrix keeps you bound.

It keeps you from regularly questioning and upgrading your belief systems and ideas about life. Have they evolved over time with your own personal growth and life experience or are they old and no longer serving you anymore? Were they largely influenced by the matrix you grew up in?

What if you were told there was another layer to life, another dimension to existence. And this layer was permeated with:

  • inner peace

  • fulfilment

  • contentment

  • non-attachment

  • unlimited happiness

  • freedom

A reality where you start your day with a sense of ease, enthusiasm, of love and gratitude.

Pure joy. A day with less worrying, less rushing, less overwhelm and anxiety.

Less caring what other people think about you. Less work. Less doing. More Being.

A day with feeling truly happy to be alive. A day of feeling fully alive. A day of being life itself.

And this day can become everyday of your life.

And in this layer, you came to the realization you never need anything outside of yourself, in the external world, to be happy and free?

When you were given the blue pill - your worldview started to be shaped. You started to tie happiness, peace and fulfilment to the ever-changing external world. Things like:

  • How much money you earn

  • Your relationships

  • Your achievements

  • Your vacations

  • Your job title

  • How much savings you have

  • If you own or rent an apartment

  • The type of car or fancy bike you have

When your living a blue pill reality - you will never be truly happy, at peace or fulfilled.

Why? Because you are looking for purpose, meaning, happiness and fulfilment on the surface of what life has to offer.

You're looking for it in things that are always changing. You're trying to find control in something that cannot be controlled.

And once you do get them things, yes, they may bring temporary happiness and satisfaction. Temporary. A few days, weeks, months later, the goal posts to happiness move and change. You need something else now. Your chasing that feeling or experience again.

What if you found a way to live where the things listed above are lovely and can be aimed for and enjoyed, and be a part of your life, but you're not attached to them.

They don't define you or your sense of inner worth. You don't find your fulfillment or happiness in them. You don't need external validation.

You find fulfilment, satisfaction and joy in your very own state of Being, your mind and your heart. It is a state of consciousness.

A state of awareness. It's already within you. You are IT. It always has been there and always will be there. This is the reality of taking the red pill. The blue pill made it hazy and difficult to access or know this to be your reality.

I'm here to share my own experience with taking the red pill.

And I didn't just take the red pill once. I take it everyday. Twice a day, actually.

The red pill in my experience, is this thing called Vedic Meditation.

The red pill is a sound.

It is a mantra that I was given and instructed how to use.

The red pill changed my life. The red pill made me finally awaken to what life is.

3 years ago, I made the conscious decision to become someone who can teach others how to take the red pill. I had to train extensively for this for 3 years.

If you had the option, which one would you take? Would you like to break free from the matrix if you had the chance?

I feel like I've found a secret in life that allows you to break free. It's simple, yet so incredibly powerful.

What do you break free from?

  • The illusion of separation

  • of fear

  • fear of death

  • of the limits and boundaries that keep you from experiencing the fullness of what life is and what it has to offer

  • the need for external validation

  • the never ending chasing of happiness

You break free being limited to your intellectual perception of life only. Your intellect is beautiful, but there is more to life than logic. There is more to life than matter. There is energy, everywhere.

Somehow I've found myself on a life path where I took the red pill - or rather the red pill took me.

I was totally content and happy with life when I was blue pilling. I didn't know any better. That's why they say 'ignorance is bliss'.

However, when life got tough and challenges came my way, life all of a sudden was difficult and sucked. When life was bad, I was bad. When life was good, I was good.

This is a de-stabilzing and exhausting way to live your life. Yet most people in the world live this way. It is normalized. It is the matrix.

But due to invisible forces, life wanted me to explore the red pill.

The red pill gives you a glimpse into the true nature of reality. You become a part of the evolution of nature itself. You awaken your potential. The way you know and understand yourself and your place in the world will be forever changed.

Hello beautiful friends.

I'm back.

Welcome back to 'The Wave'. A newsletter designed to blow your mind and open your heart.

A few weeks ago, I graduated as a Vedic Meditation Teacher.

This was 3 years in the making to become a qualified initiator of this unique style of meditation.

Sometimes I ask myself how I even got here.

I laugh because when I was younger if someone told me I'd end up on the 'Spiritual' path of life and talking about meditation - I would have laughed. But that's because I didn't know what Spirituality actually was.

Now, I see the importance and relevance of Spirituality - living life with purpose, connected to an all-pervading, cosmic intelligence, greater than your individual self.

It's the life force which governs existence itself. A power so vast, so profound, your intellect cannot grasp at it.

A power that lies within your very own Self. A power that is the reason to be alive.

I explored this cosmic intelligence - in a very intense way - for the last 3 months. I was living in an Ashram with 17 fellow soon to be teachers and 6 expert meditation teachers.

What happens when you leave the 'real' world for 3 months and meditate for an obscene amount of time?

And you enter 'another' world.

I want you to imagine this situation...

For some context, during this 3 months:

  1. You say goodbye to your friends and family.

  2. Your living in an Ashram environment in Southern India with 22 people who you don't know.

  3. No contact to the outside world or social media, email, Instagram etc.

  4. Your following a strict Ayurvedic diet with no meat, coffee, alcohol or stimulants.

  5. Your meditating for hundreds of hours non-stop.

  6. At some point in the training you're only sleeping for 3 hours a night (and meditating for the other 21 hours).

A lot of friends have been reaching out wanting to know more about the experience and 'how was it?'

It's needless to say the experience was mind altering, reality shattering, and life changing.

I thought I was going on a training to become a meditation teacher. Which in fairness, was true. I am now a qualified teacher.

However, I feel like that was only a slice of the full cake. We were shown what lies beyond our conditioning and our mind. We were shown the Truth of Reality.

The remainder of the program was being held in a container which allowed us to go very, very deep in meditation. To go on an adventure within our own Self. To take a very high dosage of the red pill... (no drugs were taken on this course). All natural baby.

We were practicing the style of meditation which I am now qualified to share and guide others through - Vedic Meditation.

I've been practicing Vedic Meditation since 2021.

It's a very simple, natural style of meditation. You essentially move beyond your thinking mind to your most natural state of consciousness - Being.

This is a place where you are awake, aware, yet you have no thoughts. It is you, without your thoughts. Another word for it: Transcendence.

It so happens that this 'Pure Consciousness' which is who and what you are - is nature itself.

So you can experience the natural essence of creation, reality, and the universe, by closing your eyes and moving beyond the surface of your mind. Cool, huh?

Spending time in this state dissolves the negative parts of you and your conditioning which keeps you bound as a small individual self, and expands and multiplies the positive parts of you which allow you to shine your unique light into the world and find your inherent connection to all other forms of life.

To be untethered. To be truly Free.

How is this possible? You are given a personalized mantra and are instructed how to use it in a specific way. This mantra is a sound, a mind-vehicle. It transports your awareness to finer, more subtle states of your very own Self, Consciousness.

First, you have the melt through layers of stress and fatigue your mind and body has been holding onto for eons. Once you've done this, it's very easy to move into this state.

On the training - I completely lost my mind (in the best way possible).

In losing my mind - I found what was beyond my mind - my 'soul' or what I prefer to call: The Witness, Pure Consciousness or Self.

This is the part of you which is eternal, infinite, unchanging. It's always been there, and will always be there. Even when your physical body dies, that part of you remains. It's an energy. Energy never dies, it only transforms.

I know it sounds a bit wild, but when you experience it for yourself first hand, you'll know exactly what I mean. It's an inner knowing. And it is absolutely beautiful.

Taking the red pill in this environment was nothing but an adventure. The wildest adventure I've ever been on. An adventure where you're not exploring tropical jungles or peeling waves, but the kind where you are traversing through planes of consciousness that exist within your very own Self.

Your eyes are closed but for the first time ever you get glimpses of reality. You are the universe in motion. You are life force coursing through a human experience.

When the distractions from your normal life are removed and you meditate non-stop for 3 months - you experience human life on a much deeper plane of existence.

You experience Pure Consciousness - consistently.

It's the part of you that is always witnessing the present moment.

It's somewhere inside your experience, you can't put a location on it but it witnesses your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and your 5 senses.

It anchors you somewhere in the 3D time and space continuum, yet it goes beyond time and space all together.

When you take the red pill, you recognize that you are not bound to a single, physical, human body. Your awareness escapes the confines of the blue pill reality and shows you that you are part of an all inclusive reality - a sort of web of life that you felt separate from before and could not see or feel.

Now it is very hard to conceive of this when you only know the blue pill reality. It seems impossible, because you're so certain you know how life works and what you really are - a human.

The red pill allows you to see life is a true gift, a mystery. You are that mystery. It is everywhere, at all times. Yes you're a human, but you're also the essence of creation itself.

On the training, I explored my mind, but much more interesting was what laid beyond my mind. A whole other world waiting to be mapped. And what I found and felt was like nothing I could have ever imagined.

The fulfilment and bliss which was found was beyond words and rational comprehension. To know that at our very core, our natural state is pure ecstasy and boundless consciousness, eternal bliss, happiness and love.

We are nothing but waves of concentrated energy that is bound in a physical body, yet at the same time - we are unbounded and everywhere at all times, if we choose to identify with this awareness. It is subtle, but it is omnipresent.

I experienced myself not as my limited physical body but I experienced my true nature, my essence, my real identity. And it is not a mere human. It is a power, a force which the mind or intellect cannot grasp at. It is a state of Being that I didn't know was possible.

I won't lie, it was pretty trippy at times. We were meditating so much that there were many times I no longer knew what time of the day it was, I didn't know where or what I was. I'd close my eyes at one side of the room, and when I opened them I'd be somewhere else and have no re-collection of how I got there.

We were high. Oh, so very high.

But being high on natural chemicals in your brain is a wonderful experience. It's the universe kicking in and showing you there is so much more to life.

I also first hand experienced and felt energy in my body that I have never felt before. It was quite shocking, because it reveleaded to me how powerful, how real, consciousness (energy) is. I learned this is called Kundalini Shakti.

I also witnessed things in other people, that I didn't think was possible. I seen things that showed me an invisible energy is governing every moment, that everything is interconnected. This is pretty far out.

There were times I found my awareness on the rings of Saturn. Things got very cosmic for a few weeks of the training. I wasn't sure I was ever going to come back down to earth. I wasn't sure I wanted to. It was so blissful. I even turned into the Sun at one point. That was nuts.

My identity exploded from being bound in a human body and mind to the unbounded state of Pure Consciousness. My awareness was everywhere.

When this happens, it changes your outlook on life. It challenges everything you ever thought about who and what you are. What this whole things called Life is. There is SO much more to life. If you're willing to close your eyes and go within. What an adventure.

It's ridiculously simple, natural, and easy. And now I know how to guide others to this place within themselves so they can explore it at their own curiosity and desire. Desire for Truth. For more.

For the answers and guidance which will make their life fully worth living. That will make you realize life really is a gift. A gift that you can use to completely transform your experience of life. That you can live in a state of consciousness where you are free.

And now the fun begins, integrating this discovery, this state, this dimension to life.

A cycle of forgetting, and remembering. I've forgotten hundreds of times already and its only been a few weeks. Jeez.

It's going to be a fun, weird, wonderful and long journey. To remember there is no-where to journey to. To remember that I am the destination. As are you.

Now one of my roles is to teach people how to take the red pill. To teach them Vedic Meditation.

To directly give them the keys to their own success and happiness in their life. To live with vibrant energy, joy and freedom, every single day.

It is simple, easy, natural. It's quite frankly a total f**king blast.

There's lot's coming up. In a few days I'm flying to Kathmandu to teach a vedic meditation course, then I'll be off the grid for 16 days trekking Annapurna mountain.

I'm also launching one of the coolest projects to date very soon... and there will be only 12 spots available to join. It happens to be in paradise. There will be waves. And coconuts.

Who's keen?

If you want to learn Vedic Meditation, reply to this mail and lets chat.

Talk very soon.

With all the love,

Robbie
